BrandMe redesigns packs for Welsh flavoured-milk range

Welsh organic dairy Trioni has relaunched its Daioni flavoured milk range in new packaging by London-based agency BrandMe.

Semi-skimmed milk drink Daioni, which in Welsh translates to 'goodness', is currently being sold in Tesco stores across Wales as a healthy alternative to fizzy drinks.

Daioni's new look was inspired by the variety of Welsh cow that produces the milk for the drinks. A hand-drawn illustration of the cow is reproduced next to the drink's logo.

The three flavours in the range are each denoted by a different colour, and the image is set against a picture of green grass on a white background.

Daioni marketing manager Abby Solomon said the initial reaction to the new look had been amazing. "BrandMe has more than met the brief [for the redesign] and given us a new look we feel very proud of," she said.

BrandMe client services director Elsa Tye said: "The new design aims to convey the values, benefits and personality of Daioni."
