Newby Teas has drawn on designs from mural artist Sarah Perry to create a unique collection of festive tea tins, which will be sold as luxury gift packs during the Christmas period.

Newby’s range of black teas consists of lion’s assam, zebra’s vanilla and elephant’s masala, while it also produces a range of green teas from unicorn’s earl green and leopard’s oolong to bunny’s sweet jasmine. “The tea caddies make for eye-catching festive gifts that combine original design with a fun concept and high quality product,” the brand said.

Priced at £20 for a set of three gift caddies, they are being positioned as a healthy and affordable alternative to more traditional gift consumables such as alcohol and confectionery.

Newby Teas founder Nirmal Sethia said: “We searched far and wide for the right artist for this collection which fits in with our policy of beauty and luxury in all our collections. We are delighted with Ms Perry’s elegant, festive designs.”

Sethia is also the world’s largest private collector of tea accessories.
