I have been working at Tetra Pak since 1999 covering a number of roles and responsibilities in several countries. On 1 December last year I was appointed marketing director at TP Italy, one of the ten top Tetra Pak markets worldwide
 
 
*What are your key challenges at work and what would you want to change in packaging industry?
Well, we simply want to put into practice Tetra Pak’s vision, and therefore strive to "making food safe and available everywhere."

*Where do you see your organization in 5 years in relation to packaging industry?
Tetra Pak has always played a leading role in the packaging industry thanks to its broad vision and clear priorities: growth, innovation, performance and environmental sustainability. I strongly believe these four strategic pillars will help us stay ahead for many years to come

  
*Could you share with us your plans for the future? 
Sure! Focus on our guiding principles and therefore pursue growth in all markets, accelerate value driven innovation, drive environmental excellence and strengthen our operational performance

 
*What are three important tenets (Principles) that you work by when beginning a new packaging project?
Add value to the final consumer, as well as retailers and distributors, customers and the environment where we all live in and operate

*What are the challenges of customers in the packaging industry?
Rising raw materials (both what’s inside the package and what is needed to make the package itself)
 
 
*What are the recent trends in packaging industry that has impacted the market more than others?
1) Rising raw material costs
2) Rising retailer power
3) Rising environmental concerns

 
*Where do you see packaging industry in 5 years from now?
Continued difficulties with raw material prices and increasing competition from low-cost countries.
