Chadwicks makes lids for Formula One champion's mozzarella
Chadwicks is manufacturing the pre-cut lids for a British mozzarella from the organic farm of Formula One world champion Jody Scheckter.
Laverstoke Park Farm's cheese is said to be the first organic Buffalo Mozzarella produced in the UK and is available in select Sainsbury's stores.
Chadwicks has produced the 50-micron white PET lids that are embossed and flexo printed using six colours.
South African Jody Scheckter, who won the Formula One World Championship in 1979, owns the Hampshire farm.
Scheckter said: "We are hugely proud of the quality of our Buffalo Mozzarella and the high-quality packaging reflects this."
Chadwicks' sales administrator Vicki Slater said: "Our lids will keep the Buffalo Mozzarella fresh and tasting great."
Bury-based Chadwicks is part of Clondalkin's flexible packaging division that has more than 40 manufacturing sites across Europe and North America.
