YRG wins pre-press contract for Aunt Bessie's packaging

York Reprographic Group (YRG) has clinched a deal to project manage the pre-press for Aunt Bessie's range of packaging.

Products include main courses and deserts. The packaging consists of six-colour flexo printed film and six-colour offset printed folding cartons.

"Colour management is a big part of the contract," said YRG director Steve Buxton. "They wanted to ensure that whatever the pack there is colour consistency."

He added that YRG will work with a wide cross section of print suppliers for Aunt Bessie’s. The tie-up will incorporate YRG’s WebCenter software from EskoArtwork.

"It provides the facility to access proofs over the internet," said Buxton. "It also incorporates project tracking and 3D visualisation of pack formats. We also provide hard copy mock-ups."

YRG is a packaging orientation company that was founded in 1974. As well as pre-press services, the company has a creative division.
