CLS Remy Cointreau has called on CCL Decorative Sleeves to repackage its Passoã liqueur bottles.

The King’s Lynn-based company was briefed to replicate the appearance of the existing matt black coated bottle with a paper label.

CCL selected a 50-micron high-shrink PET sleeve that was rotogravure printed in eight-colours with a scuff resistant matt lacquer. In addition, a UV barrier lacquer was developed for further protection.

The full body sleeves are being applied to 70cl, 75cl and one litre bottles of Passoã.

CCL said the new sleeve offered CLS "significant benefits for the brand, particularly in terms of wider promotional opportunities" as it can incorporate additional information or specific brand or promotional messages.

The design incorporates bold yellow and red graphics while the new look bottles have been rolled out this summer.
