With over 30 years’ experience in case packing applications, the Cama innovative solutions for RRP are  amongst a wide range of successful machines, which have been developed over the years. The combination of high performance and excellent reliability makes it extremely suitable for integration into complete production lines for food and non-food applications.

The Cama FW Electronic Case Packers are capable of packing various types of products in a wrap-around case as well as in a two-piece display case, for retail-ready packaging solutions.

The FW749, that will be displayed at PackExpo Chicago 2010, has been developed combining the features of a wrap-around case packer, capable of running up to 30 cases/minute, with a display box machine able to produce two-piece packages (tray and lid of various types and configurations), at a speed of up to 20-25 cases/minute.

Amongst the recent applications: packing of 150 biscuit cartons/minute, arriving from 2 CAMA cartoning machines, both in a stand up configuration, into a display box with an internal “U” shape lid and into a wrap-around case.
Further proof of the real added value that CAMA can give to its final customer is provided by another successful project in co-operation with a renowned chocolate tablets producer.  The tablets are automatically loaded into a display box and subsequently into a wrap-around case using an FW749 machine. The FW749 is capable of running up to 30 wrap-around cases/minute and up to 17 display boxes/minute.

Depending upon the configuration required, the products can be loaded either on edge (landscape or portrait) or flat into the cases. The Cama case packer is a “tried-and-tested” machine, guaranteeing extreme reliability as well as flexibility, in order to meet the various market requirements. The Case Packer can be easily “customised” to suit the demands of particular packaging features and styles; these can be developed in co-operation with the Cama Packaging Service Dept.

Consultation is also offered regarding new packaging styles and methods with personnel from Cama’s unique in house packaging design department on hand, designing and constructing the best customized RRP packaging for the Customer.
