Irish cheese brand Cashel Blue has revamped its packaging in a bid to give the product better on-shelf visibility.

The pack incorporates a new colour scheme with a clear, larger window on the front.

The window is in the shape of a double rosette, which according to Cashel Blue, reflects the many awards the brand has received over the last 25 years.

Dublin-based Neworld Associates designed the packaging with New Era printing the labels. The corrugated retail-ready trays were produced by Drogheda, County Louth-based Dollard Packaging.

Sarah Furno of Cashel Blue said: "We are confident this new, striking packaging will capture the attention of a new generation of blue cheese lovers, whilst supporting our retailers at the same time."

Cashel Blue is a blue cheese made in Beechmount Farm in Fethard, County Tipperary. It won a gold award at the Nantwich International Cheese Awards 2010.

The brand is exported to countries including the UK, US, South Africa and Australia.
